A little while ago I found a post on K.Mandla’s wordpress about how to get fbpanel to look like Ubuntu. I was very intrigued by this, so I put it on my long list to do, and finally got around to it, I chose openbox to go with the fbpanel’s. I was amazed by how light it was, on boot up conky showed I was using only 38mbs out of 128mbs of ram in virtualbox, even on my old pentium 3 computer with 384mbs of ram, on start up it used about 50mbs, I was impressed. So you want my setup?
This is a update, the old fbpanel profiles I had here didn’t really look too much like Ubuntu, I’ve made a newer profile for fbpanel that look just like Ubuntu.
